基礎手寫體由愛德華·約翰斯頓於20世紀初奠定，結構圓潤、比例和諧，是現代書法教育的基石。課程將從基本筆畫、字形架構與空間感入手，建立穩固的書寫根基。透過系統性訓練，您將掌握平筆的穩定運用與細節處理，為學習其他字體打下扎實基礎，適合初學者與欲深化技法的進階者。

羅馬字體起源於古羅馬，幾乎構成了我們今天使用的所有西方字體和字形的基礎。羅馬大寫字母使用寬筆尖書寫，字形幾何優美、筆直挺拔、結構嚴謹——其精確的比例歷經兩千餘年依然保持不變。

Developed by Edward Johnston in the early 20th century, Foundational Hand is the cornerstone of modern calligraphic education. Its rounded forms and harmonious proportions emphasize clarity and structural integrity. This course begins with basic strokes, letter construction, and spatial awareness, building a solid technical foundation. Through systematic practice, you will gain control over the broad‑nib pen and refine precision. Ideal for beginners and intermediate calligraphers, it equips you with the essential skills needed to explore any other script with confidence.

Roman Script traces its origins to ancient Rome and forms the basis of virtually all Western typefaces and letterforms we use today. Written with a broad-edge nib, Roman capitals are geometric, upright, and deeply structured — built on precise proportions that have endured for over 2,000 years.

課程簡介：
初班助你建立正確坐姿及平頭鋼筆的執筆角度與手法運用及技巧, 認清基礎筆劃建構及角度, 學習起筆及收筆的圓潤感，掌握弧形運筆。理解字形穏定性，精凖的寫出完美小階字母。打好基本功非常重要, 不堇可以幫助建立肌肉記憶, 更有助提升流暢度。
Course Introduction:
The beginner's course helps you establish correct posture and the proper angle and technique for holding a board-edge pen. You'll understand the structure and angle of basic strokes, learn the roundness of starting and ending strokes, and master curved. You'll understand the stability of letter shapes and write perfect small letters with precision. Building a solid foundation is crucial; it not only helps develop muscle memory but also improves fluency.
