銅板雕刻體是銅版體家族中最正式、風格最精凖及華麗的字體。起源於 19 世紀，靈感源自銅版雕刻師的精準技法和筆觸。以其幾何結構的精確性、筆畫粗細的對比以及幾乎每一筆之後筆觸的輕微抬起而聞名，被認為是西方最優雅、最正式的字體之一。其特點在於對一致性和流暢過渡的精益求精。與一般銅板體相比，雕刻體更強調字母的幾何佈局和筆畫中的裝飾細節，滿足了正式和精緻裝飾的要求。它常用於邀請函、社交證書和高端展覽。

ES is the most formal and stylistically precise typeface in the Copperplate family. Developed in the 19th century, it draws inspiration from the precision and brushstrokes of copperplate engravers. Renowned for its geometric accuracy, contrasting thicknesses, and the slight lifting of the brush after almost every stroke, it is considered one of the most elegant and formal typefaces in the West. Its bronze enamel is characterized by its meticulous attention to consistency and smooth transitions. Compared to bronze, ES emphasizes the geometric layout of the letterforms and decorative details in the strokes, satisfying the requirements of formality and refined ornamentation. It is often used for invitations, social certificates, and high-end exhibitions.

The beginner's course will help you establish correct posture, grip angle and techniques of using oblique pen, understand the structure of basic stroke, enabling you to write minuscule letter with precision. Building a solid foundation is crucial; it not only helps establish muscle memory but also improves your ability to other fonts!
